Antelope County offers the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) through the Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership. The program works to improve the health of low-income elderly age 60 and older by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA foods.\

Interested individuals are required to prequalify for the program a week before the third Tuesday. Receive commodities by calling 1-402-385-6300 or 1-402-358-5297. Commodities may not be picked up until the prequalification is completed. Those prequalified after that date may be eligible to pick up commodities at the next date.\

Commodities will be distributed to qualifying individuals and families at the Antelope County Barn in Neligh. Commodities are distributed in February, April, June, August, October and December (every other month) on the 3rd Tuesday of that month.\

Requirements to get food through CSFP are: a current U.S. or Nebraska I.D., proof of address (mail with name and address), household income amount, and lawfully present in the U.S.\
